Clarendon School Mission Statement

The mission of Clarendon School is the attainment of learning for all of its students.  This ongoing mission will continue to be accomplished:

by a supportive, professional and highly
skilled staff  dedicated to each and every student

  in a student-centered environment that
      challenges academic potential, encourages
self-discipline, builds self esteem and rewards excellence

by providing strong academic, remedial and
enrichment programs as well as a variety of
experiences and activities within and outside
      the classroom that foster self-worth

through the use of technology and other resources as
an integral part of the learning process in an on-going effort to achieve

by promoting the involvement of the
community in all aspects of the school's
program in an effort to work as a team for the students

Secaucus Public Schools are dedicated to developing the potential of each child through educational excellence.  We seek to recognize individual differences and to facilitate achievement and progress, not only in basic skills, but also in the ability to think independently, creatively, and critically.  It is our goal to inspire life-long learners who are able to develop in themselves attitudes of respect and helpfulness towards others; to want, and to be able to perform well, some portion of the work of the world. The Board of Education and the Administration have dedicated themselves to these goals as outlined above. It is their "goal" to have each student reach his/her own personal goal by affording each one the opportunity to reach academic success throughout their education.

"We make realities out of our dreams and dreams out of our realities.  We are the dreamers of the dream".

Ronald Dahl
