401        CROCHETTING AND KNITTING FOR BEGINNERS

CLASS BEGINS JANUARY 31, 2008

This course is for the beginner.  Instruction will include basic skills, how to check for gauge, blocking your finished garments, and correct reading of instructions.  Students will be able to complete at least one knit and one crochet project.  Bring size 9 knitting needles, a crochet needle, and 6 oz. worsted weight yarn.

402 EXPERIENCE THE TASTEFUL PLEASURES OF ITALY WITH PINO

Session 1:  March 3, March 10, and March 24, 2008
Session 2:  April 7, April 14, April 28, 2008
                                                           

7 - 9 PM                         $30

You’ll be surprised at the results as you prepare the delicious Italian dishes from Pino (Trattorio da Pino, Secaucus).  Bring your apron, this is a hands-on class.  During the first two classes of each session, you will learn how to prepare these fabulous dishes but on the third day, the tables are turned and you will cook for Pino, showing him what you have learned.

 Additional fees for food collected on first night.
