401*       EXPERIENCE THE TASTEFUL PLEASURES OF ITALY WITH  PINO
3 Day Session - MONDAYS                                            7 - 9 PM                                   $65
MARCH 16TH, 23RD, & 30TH 
You’ll be surprised at the results as you prepare the delicious Italian dishes from Pino (Trattorio da Pino, Secaucus).  Bring your apron because this is a hands-on class.  During the first two classes of each session, you will learn how to prepare these fabulous dishes but on the third day, the tables are turned and you will cook for Pino, showing him what you have learned.

WEDNESDAYS – 8 CLASSES                                                            7 – 9 PM                                $45
CLASS BEGINS FEBRUARY 25, 2009
Learn the quilting basics and discover your creativity.  While making a sampler, we will discuss color and value relationships as well as fabric choices.  You’ll learn how to rotary cut, machine piece blocks, complete the top with sashing and borders, finish the quilt by pin basting, basic machine quilting, and binding. You must know how to use a sewing machine.  List of supplies will be given out on the first night of class.

403        CROCHETING AND KNITTING FOR BEGINNERS
THURSDAYS – 8 CLASSES                                                            7 - 9 PM                                $45
CLASS BEGINS FEBRUARY 26, 2009
This course is for the beginner.  Instruction will include basic skills, how to check for gauge, blocking your finished garments, and correct reading of instructions.  Students will be able to complete at least one knit and one crochet project.  Bring size 9 knitting needles, a crochet needle, and 6 oz. worsted weight yarn.

404*       FLORAL ARRANGEMENT

WEDNESDAYS – 5 CLASSES                                                            7 – 9 PM                                $50
CLASS BEGINS MARCH 4, 2009
This course will include bow making and ribbon wrapping, fresh and silk centerpieces, a silk spring wreath, hand tied bouquets, vase arrangements, garden flower designing and basic knowledge of flower purchasing for freshness and quality. 
All students must bring their own glue gun and glue sticks.
