Clarendon School awards Secaucus Police with check for Special Olympics Torch Run On Wednesday, June 4th, 5th grade students of Clarendon School awarded police officers from the Secaucus Police Department a check for $500 to go towards the Special Olympics (Torch Run) program. Pictured here are Officer Rinaldo, Student Resource Officer Friedman, Ms. Candela (Principal of Clarendon School), Officer Eccles, Ella Paine, Luca Landolfo, Ms. Reinhart, John Paul Cassels, Ms. Harrsch, Steven Olsen, Ms. Backiel, and Ms. Mele. The students participated and raised money in the TREP$ program, which is short for entrepreneurship. Students creatively integrate entrepreneurship education with the opportunity to apply business, academic, and life skills to design and create their unique products. Students then sold their products at the TREP$ Marketplace, which is the culminating event where the community came together to view these young, creative thinkers. Published June 5, 2025 Print
