The district uses a third party service to backup Google Data. This includes Google Drive, Classroom, Email, Calendar and other G-Suite Services. Cyber threats continue to evolve, and Google Workspace accounts are not immune to them. Malicious attacks like phishing attempts, ransomware, or data breaches can lead to significant data loss or compromise sensitive information. Third-party backup solutions can help mitigate these risks by providing an independent copy of data. If a student accidently or purposely deletes their data, this backup solution can help in the data recovery.
