Policies and Guidelines


Secaucus District provides a Chromebook for each student in Grades 3-12 to use at school and at home to provide them with flexible learning opportunities.


To participate in the Chromebook Program, students and parents must acknowledge related District policies, 1:1 Chromebook Guidelines, Anti-Big Brother Notification, and pay the Insurance premium :



Parents and students must acknowledgement these on the Parent Portal at the start of the school year.


Students must also pay outstanding invoices for 1:1 deductibles and late fees before they will be issued a Chromebook for the year.


We are confident students will demonstrate effort to keep their Chromebook devices safe, secure, and in good working condition. We know they can meet our expectations for the appropriate and responsible use of district technology and network resources.
